SOFTWARE FOR GLASS

“We are committed to our presence in North America and will be back at Las Vegas in September 2010.”

Clear Thinking Software have returned from a busy few days in Atlanta Georgia at the beginning of this month where they were exhibiting at GlassBuild USA, which is now recognized as the largest gathering of glass and window professionals in North America.

Malcolm Searle, Director of Clear Thinking here and in the US said, “This 3-day event was hailed a success for us as we were able to cement our relationships with some of our existing US customers. The Atlanta show has quite a different look and feel from the previous show in Las Vegas, where it is held alternate years. The show’s overall turnout was slightly down on last year, but the mood was very business-like and many of the other exhibitors remarked how pleasantly surprised they’d been at the show’s attendance, even in the light of the recession. Atlanta is obviously not Las Vegas and doesn’t always attract the same sort of visitor, so the people that did come to the show were genuinely interested in buying and looking to the future, and not being distracted by golf courses and casinos!”

Malcolm went on to say, “We also made several new contacts which we hope will develop over time as we build relationships and demonstrate how software can be particularly useful in these difficult times, whether it’s knowing your margins down to a fraction of a percent, or optimising your material yield, or providing better reporting, software can help in all these areas, and can still be cost effective. We are committed to our presence in North America and will be back at Las Vegas in September 2010.”
