SOFTWARE FOR GLASS
Come and see us on Stand G20 at the NEC, UK
17th-19th May 2005
Building on their success at the first GP&T show in 2003, Clear Thinking Software are looking forward to an equally successful show this year. With many new options to choose from in their range of glass software, the company will be showing the new facilities in their flagship program Glass Office. Of particular interest to larger manufacturers, the new ‘Advanced Job Scheduling’ module includes an on-screen drag and drop T card system, which not only shows all the details of a weeks production, but also the amount of work at each factory station, eg. cutting, washing, sealing, leading Georgian, etc.
The option can also be linked to the bar coding software to check progress of items in real time and give total control through your factory in terms of where and when jobs are happening and what jobs are available for despatch.
Another recently released option which has also proved very popular is the addition of the “DXF & CAD shape drawing and nesting” option. This will nest both standard library shapes with CAD drawn DXF shapes (eg. conservatory roofs) within the overall break out rectangle to minimise waste and it will rotate these shapes into the smallest rectangle it can and then it will try to nest DXF and standard shapes where it can to reduce wastage further.
